It’s hump day (Wednesday), you’re half way through the week so why not treat yourself to a trip to the Real Food market at King’s Cross. Filled with small, independent food producers, this market has a wide selection of good quality food and drink.

Simply hop off at King’s Cross station and tuck right in!

Hours

This market runs also takes place on Thursdays and Fridays.

Recommendations:

With over 40 traders, who rear and grow their own produce, this market sells what it promises: real food. Here are some stalls recommended by MarketDayLDN:

Bad Brownie

A personal favourite of us here at MarketDayLDN, we reckon Bad Brownie sells the best brownies in London. Have a quick look at our write-up earlier this month.

FYI, Bad Brownie’s February flavours won’t be around for much longer so head down to King’s Cross to try one of the following:

  • Black Forest Gateau
  • Blueberry, Pecan & Cinnamon
  • Salted Caramel Sandwich
  • Ferrero Rocher

Bread Ahead

Bread Ahead has been setting high baking standards in London for nearly 25 years now with Matt Jones at the forefront. With a range of freshly baked loaves for sale, it’s hard to believe you won’t get a sourdough, classic white tin , focaccia, baguette or rye, suitable for you!

Bread Ahead is also available at Borough Market, and has shops across the capital too.

Crosstown Doughnuts

Freshly made doughnuts are always hard to say no to, and Crosstown Doughnuts are making that challenge even harder. Made using a hybrid sourdough, these doughnuts are more than your bog standard jam ones. Incredible flavour combinations include: Chai Tea, Chilli-Chocolate and Peanut Butter Berry…need we say more?
